Saturday, February 24 at 1 PM – 4 PM
Did you know that February is heart month? It’s true! The first American Heart Month took place in 1964, under president Lyndon B. Johnson. Since then, the American Heart Association has used February, and its fondness for hearts and all things red, to raise public awareness about cardiovascular disease and to promote heart health.
In this spirit of health promotion, the Respiratory Care Society of Washington cordially invites you to join them for an afternoon of wine tasting and cardiopulmonary wellness at Northwest Cellars, 11909 124th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on February 24, 2018. Tickets are $20.00 and proceeds from the ticket sales will help the Respiratory Care Society of Washington continue its promise to promote pulmonary health and disease prevention.
Light snacks, appetizers, and chocolate will be provided, and you will get the opportunity to sample several of Northwest Cellars award-winning wines. Northwest Cellars has received 2 double platinum, 5 platinum, 17 double gold, and 39 gold medals at major competitions across the country. In addition to tasting, wines can be purchased by the glass or bottle.
The Respiratory Care Society of Washington will also be offering its own personalized wine with custom wine label for purchase.
Volunteer respiratory therapists and respiratory therapy students will be on hand to discuss the latest in cardiopulmonary health and wellness.
Please join us during heart month for a fantastic evening of wine, food, and conversation. We look forward to seeing you there.
